Welcome to the new blog! As we prepare to attend the Lincoln Center Institute's New Educators Workshop in June of 2008, it is my hope that this blog becomes a place for discussion, provocation, dialogue and exchange as we get to know each other while framing the work at hand. We passionately feel the high quality of this professional development will not only inform your teaching practice, but also provide methods in which to creatively engage your students on a daily basis.
As you know, in June of 2009 the Auditorium Theatre will be hosting LCI-NEW. We are so grateful that you will act as ambassadors for the experience and help us spread the word to teachers and educators all over the Chicagoland area. I am so impressed with the accomplishments and experience of our team. This is really just the beginning of quite an exciting aesthetic and educational journey.
